Maybe something to be added here: I find many grimoires or manuals for demon summoning use very complex procedures for weak results. It comes from not having much to offer them. I've seen a situation repeat a number of times now where someone well some glowie usually summoned a demon and sent them to "attack" me but the deal is easily overridden by me once they arrive because they paid badly and asked for something unclear. In some cases the demons themselves just used the crappy ritual as a free ticket to come visit me, after which they instantly turned on the first summoner.

One thing to pay attention to is if the suggested method is overly respectful, using ancient language for no reason or complex spell components. That should tell you they are trying to make up for something.

Normally, if you have something to offer all you have to do is ask. Or you can light a candle or burn some incense or some herbs or something to show intent. It doesn't have to be complicated or physically expensive to be functional, as long as you have decent business to offer.
