The Vatican has the "main" spiritual "authority" in europe so if you couldn't find a higher/better/more compatible authority then you belong there. My energies spiked so high and so hard that "their" construct couldn't hold me further so as I was almost losing my sanity and control over my body I had to "baptize" myself with a bowl of cold water. My senses were so sensitive that I knew that bowl of cold water would feel like dying instantly. And that was the point. After that my energies stabilized.
Satanist tier traditions have a part in their initiation where they need to "defile" the symbols of christianity to establish their connection. For me it wasn't needed because my country "adapted" christianity on their own terms and while they respected their rules they always made sure it fits the "designs" of the king so reconnecting them was beneficial to me. Complicated matter. If you feel they are threatening you then cut them away but if not ask them what they want. Even the catholic church contains some ancient truths that has still value I only use them as a stabilizing force and they are kind to me because I had some lives that cared about this religion and the egregore respects/accepts me
Hard to talk about the church because they don't understand Jesus and how he "produced" his miracles and they merged with so many empires religions and traditions that I can't say if it's good or bad. Not to mention the current pope is not from this continent which weakens the "authority".

Can you sometimes elaborate how the "old" world order and the "current" world order "changed".
