Around 2 years ago, the galfed imposed a ban of certain magic types on planet Earth. This mostly effected wicca and latin American Catholicism. It still made 48% of the magic users on the planet unable to practice (there were a lot of wiccans).
They have now installed a magic systems mananager for the Earth. All magic use must now be authorized by the federation or it will be blocked. There is a list of allowed and banned magic but it's too complex to write down and post here.
Some examples of the complexity: Part of Christianity is banned because certain sects are classified as soul-harvesting operations. This is only allowed during extreme endtimes, and we are leaving that period now. Islamic prayer/ritual will be allowed to some extent, while others are banned. The Quran can only be interpreted in specific ways authorized by the federation. And so on.
Do you feel that, that feeling in the air? Me neither. That is the lack of glowie operations. They are all banned.
