No, I'm not joking, I'm asking, what do you (or the author of the quoted post) think a "state" is, if it isn't that? Because I don't know any other way to look at it.
The only difference between what we normally call a business/enterprise/corporation and and a state/nation/kingdom is that a smaller business doesn't have the ability to register its employees as "citizens" and force them to pay membership fees (taxes) and punish them for not following the rules set up by the leadership. A state is simply a business which owns slaves (the population).
