The people/spirits who perform these attacks are generally atheist. Glowies may be religious sometimes, but they are "religious" in the dumbest way possible, where they make excuses such as "abortion is necessary to stop overpopulation and same for when our benevolent government commits murder or terrorism, because [my specific denomination of christianity] will absolve those sins collectively even if no one says so anywhere in any text, we'll just make it up and that makes it real because we can manifest our own destiny, but we are still totally christians, no unsalvageable sinners"
