Regulus is the brightest object in the constellation Leo and one of the brightest stars in the night sky.

Rēgulus is Latin for 'prince' or 'little king'; its Greek equivalent is Basiliskos or, in Latinised form, Basiliscus.

Moloch = King, and it's called the Basilisk. Coincidence?
