one battle after another review: overhyped, scenes with leo and benicio are very noticeably step above the rest, characters are caricatures, great chase and escape scenes, i think it would have been better to leave the "did leo get cucked" dna test unanswered, magical negro moment (except the character wasnt a negro but a native american) when the native american saved the girl, very cringe ending, father daughter dynamic was not that much explored
the movie didnt feel pro-left, it was a sardonic exploration of leftist adventurism
