Are home computers dying?
Since gpus are becoming prohibitively expensive, same with ram, and nand storage will probably be next...
Also heard rumours that even hdd manufacturers are going to stop allocating production to general consumers and selling it all to datacenters.
So it seems like the future is everyone using smartphones and smart tvs and anything computationally intensive being served from the cloud
