>>3368>Alice-slime's abilities which are a bit exotic. It has severe bonuses but also massive drawbacks, I still think it will be fun for everyone.Fun is the #1 importance and goal for DM. If this condition is not met, rules and regulations are useless.
I seek balance within the adventurer group, so if one is OP in some ways and they have severe drawbacks in others, then it should be balanced within reason. Additionally, we're not throwing stones here because our princess Ashley wants to be special too. So far she wants to be a sorcerer with shapeshifting ability which is beyond the scope of a sorcerer unless you really stretch it. So we welcome your absurd abilities and intend to match you somewhat.
[Ashley] You'll see, I'll be completely worthless without a backup ability to actually bring DPS to the team. I have nothing at level 1 besides 2 measly spells per encounter and I'll be summoning something ridiculously weak to start so I'll need to do more than use improvised weapons at a disadvantage. Trust me, wait till you see my stats and you'll understand why I need a backup form once per encounter.
>Poor Yulya, she'll have the most complex job.I disagree with that though we will occasionally need healing, she will also likely be a frontline fighter as a cleric with medium to heavy armor. Her ability to heal during an encounter is very helpful, but with our version of a resting system, it won't nearly be so bad between encounters. Bear played a very old revision apparently, one that didn't even have the capability of full healing on rest so clerics were essential to survive. In this version she'll simply cast whatever spell she feels is necessary and if she keeps track of her MP then all the better or I'll do it for her and report it each turn. She'll also probably wield a blunt weapon which will be necessary at all levels but especially at level 1-4.
>How's Ashley coming along?I hope you weren't waiting for her as an example because she's waiting on you to determine what's reasonable.
