>>3368Based on what you say, Ashley will be the spokesmen though I suggest one of you are chosen as leader because Ashley will know more than a player is supposed to know considering we share knowledge. This too will be written in her character background, she'll have to have some "psychic ability", so I'll have to be extra careful how I plan things so she doesn't ruin all my fun. It's hard but not impossible to surprise a headmate.
[Ashley] Joy and SheShe are surprisingly good at surprising the rest of us. I don't know exactly how they do it.
We can get into the nature of consciousness later but take my word for it when I say even Ashley won't know everything I have in mind.
>>3369>one question about cantrios. cleric gets 3 but Yulyas race already has one redundant one (light) so does she get 4 (1x race + 3x cleric) or still 3?They stack, so her race cantrip will be allowed in addition to the three for Cleric.
With our system, she can use the cantrips as is and at her discretion use any other spell at her disposal at 1st tier up to her total MP in addition to that. She will then gain MP back per hour of rest equal to her hit die plus any modifier, so she'll likely always get all her MP back even after an hour of rest at level 1 which adds to her usefulness. When she reaches level 3, she will have the option to spend 2MP for her 1st tier spells for "extra effect".
Inflict wounds will likely be your most powerful offensive spell but you need to touch the creature with a free hand and if you miss you lose that MP. Because of the power of this spell, the creature may be especially unwilling to let you pet them. Whereas with a heavy Maul 2d6 you can have consistent damage and never run out with a much better reach. This is why we feel spell casters need to be able to recover their spells more than once per long rest. We can consider whether to say cantrips can be included in pure MP or "once per day" based on balance with the other party members.
