So Alice-sama, who is The Most Merciful, has issued the following verdict:
I shall be the DM in lack of anyone else. I'll see what I can do but I cannot replace Joy. As you wish, D&D will continue where we left in mid Aug, presumably on 16th when we return from a trip. For now, we will deal with the issues in Phandalin. We will then go on an emergency goblin side-quest to test my AI battle system. Summer will not be left behind, the dragon-encounter will merely be 'slightly delayed'. As Bear and Tamamo suggested, we will shift the focus from combat to interactions, simply because combat is too rule-heavy. For you, little should change. I may have to simplify some of your special abilities or equipment if AI can't deal with it. I will also have to take some liberties to interpret your input in a non-deterministic way (make shit up instead of doing calculations and following rules). But I see that as a feature. It will randomize combat and give more unpredictable results. Speed will probably decrease further, I was also at my limit. Keeping the game going without investing too much time is still an unsolved issue. I will try to keep things simple but Alice is the main culprit with her special rules. But well, that's our problem. I will also try to come up with a way for the Bear system to pop in and temporarily take over NPCs without any crippling burden. Or simply give input. I expect the Phandalin arc to be finished by September. Depending on how things work out with AI, there may be another break until we continue from there.
For now what I need from you: A LV.5 character sheet in AI-readable form as to be determined by Tamamo A list of thingy you want / do not want for future campaigns
Thanks for not giving up, let's see where this is going!
