that explains a lot. i dont know why i didnt think of it sooner:
1. its arguing from vagueness, and if reddit's left leaning streak is any indication, they enjoy vague, sophistic kafkatrap arguments. this tries to be a kafkatrap, by implying that if you disagree, then you clearly are not an ebin oldfag and thus dont know what you are talking about, but it rarely ever goes that well for the the arguer. well, on 8/v/ it does, but primarily because the newfag BO uses the arguemnt, and people think his position of authority gives his argument extra weight. Redditors, being redditors, just cant help sucking mod cock either, so that would only further its usage there.
2. its an emotional arguemt, as it is never expalined what they exactly mean by culture, and we are just supposed to take the "its culture" argument as somehow aceptable. redditors are known to lack in critical thinking skills (ie memes are only images with one line of bold impact font on top and bottom, being steamtards, being consolebabbies, etc)
3. it fails to grasp the chan semi-serious semi-bantz nature, instead dividing it into only one or the other, i feel that the image explains this one sufficiently with the whole subreddit arugment
4. its taking shitposting and memes seriously by defining it as something other than shitposting and memes, and i think we all know how seriously redditors take their memes.
5. it promotes a clique mentalitity by implying that this or that is more valid that whatever it is you do by merit of me giving it a dignifying title, and therefore deserves reptition. again redditors love repition ( they still use advice animals, reposts, etc.)

that whole "it dae lae vee kulturee" argument just stinks of reddit. thank you for opening my eyes to this.

note that my saying that the whole argument stinks of reddit means i am implying that use of this argument is some kind of identifier for the user of it being from reddit, although it is likely, but that perhaps you would find reddit more suitable to your liking.
