Patently false. Completely separate set of symptoms. A BPD diagnosis requires no violence or lack of empathy whatsoever. Both are personality disorders though so both are the result of social conditioning. So if you think BPD is fake because mostly women get diagnosed and it's the result of "trauma and neurodivergency", you'd logically have to conclude that ASPD is fake since the exact same thing holds true, which you won't do because that's obviously retarded.

Literally all mental illness is the result of social conditioning. Some have more biological influence but even then social conditioning is the primary influence in the outcome. Call it trauma, call it whatever you want, the fact remains that all behavior deemed deviant or mentally ill is highly unique and dependent upon the individual. Diagnoses are language tools. Your mistake is equating psychiatric diagnoses with physical ones where some are more legitimate than others. In a field where everything is social, they all hold equal weight, including diagnoses that are now considered archaic, as they were simply ways of communicating and alleviating specific related behaviors more efficiently.
