Part of communism is literally accepting that capitalism is what will lead to its own demise. Refusing to participate in commodity society doesn’t fix anything. May as well have fun if and while you can. Not at all comparable to the dairy industry like whatshisface said, although most sane people will admit that modern animal product industries are really barbaric and cruel even when they still eat those products.
