Yeah nigga but like you and me both know a dog or cow can feel more shit than a tomato. It's not a matter of "it all suffers so might as well fund the abuse of animals". It's about measuring what you know suffers more and taking action with that information. If I must survive, I will choose to consume the living thing that suffers less. While plants can communicate, they do not have the level of awareness or consciousness that we animals do. They also do not have a nervous system, which can feel pain. With something such as suffering, it is important to not have an "all or nothing" attitude. Just because the elite kill and drink children's blood does not mean I will consume children's meat because "its all suffering". It's about measure. I think you acknowledge this in your post, that it's a sliding scale of suffering. For example, every time we shit, we essentially flush an entire universe or microbes down the toilet. There's a difference the microbes and an elephant, a mouse, a bird, etc. I just personally believe that you should minimize the amount of suffering you're contributing to, rather than throw your hands up and say "eh, it's all suffering".

Anyways, now let's talk about what's really important. My imminent control. I need to make a campaign speech.
