You could do a shared a secret. Someone is added to the list. A phrase is generated that the user retrieves then stores. The person copies it into a notepad and uses it on a new IP. The token could be removed if found and using token could expire the current VIM entry. So if it found out it could be detected when they lose it.

I wouldn't mind saving a random text string to a free password vault.
