>>1021418 We got the cat from a foster care foundation, and technically we haven't adopted him so the foundation foots the vet bill, which is great because no way would I pay a grand to get the poor cunt an ultrasound. Anyway so they choose the vet. I've been there 3 times and each time the vet has no idea who the cat is, hasn't checked the file, doesn't know about previous sessions/blood results/scans etc. I went yesterday and the vet is telling me he has hyperthyroidism and I tell her hes not eating and she immediately reassesses it as atypical hyperthyroidism. Tells me shes gonna prescribe a med for that and a pain killer but asks me if I want her to. I tell her I don't know youre the vet you tell me. Waited like 20 minutes for this older jeet woman to dispense the medication but she didn't know he was already on a laxative so had to spent another 10 minutes on the computer and then asked if it was the OTC laxative they sell on the shelf (it wasnt). Then told me to give the pain meds until he 'passes away' which the vet didn't even mention at all. Just absolutely useless locusts. I want all poojeets turned into fertilizer and given away for free at Bunnings
