The most important thing to understand is that they will play no role in getting you a job.
They will not find a job for you. You are going to have to do that yourself.
They are just there as a support role, to help you get your resume into shape and maybe to help pay for anything you need to get you in a better position to find yourself a job.

I just thought I would say that to you in case you go in thinking that this guy you are going to deal with there is going to be finding a job for you. He won't. He won't even try.
