(fwiw, I invented "/b/tard", at 4:10pm AEST 14th Jan 2004. 4chan was being DDoS'd by 5chan at the time, so everyone was bunkered on ?idlechan. Someone suggested "/b/astard" as a collective term, but I replies saying "/b/tard" was more edgy. When 4chan came back up, I force-memed it for a few days, and eventually it stuck.)
