Today I got a call from a SaaS company and had a friendly chat with the guy about my experience etc. He said it sounded good and he was gonna send me an invite to a zoom meeting with him and another guy for an official interview but he never did. I was straight up about the gap in my resume and he seemed to brush it off. Just can't understand why he would tell me directly he'll send the invite, almost gleefully, and then not do it.
