Girls who play the flute tend to be really bitchy. I am quite surprised that Olive played it as she seems far too nice.
The nice girls usually go for the other woodwind instruments except the bassoon of course. The girls in the string section will usually be nice. Those girls would often be interested in me for playing the flute but then get funny about it upon finding out I'm not gay.
I'd consider the piano a solid instrument to play as well although it is very much the instrument of those with class aspirations or, worse still, class insecurities. Kate played the piano quite well but that was more due to her desire to do everything she could and excel at everything. She was such a lovely girl. Her husband (she got married a while ago) must be very happy. I wish that'd been me. Woe.
