I have been looking up how to fix all those problems the mechanic identified with my car.
Theoretically I could do some of them myself using YouTube as a guide. But it looks too hard.
I would like to be the kind of person who works on their own car, but I don't think YouTube is enough - they make too many assumptions and too much detail gets missed.
I can't risk fucking up my car. I can't afford a new one.
I would like to be able to paint it myself too but that looks even harder. Spraying it with tub liner looks like an option.
It really needs a new paint job. The paint fade and discolouration is unsightly.
