In the post modernity, objects have claimed victory, having subdued the subject that has been defeated. Both are ensnared within the system of objects; it is clear to everyone that their smiles are insincere, and they are aware that others recognize this as well, yet they continue to uphold this facade. None of them wish to engage in politics at their age, but for the archetypal American psychos, yielding is not a option; as the game has taken control of them, and the object has triumphed over the subject. These two can only exit when the object itself decides to end their existence, neither of them are in control.
