I learnt recently that some dirty Hungarian named Orban helped Mehmet build the basilica (big gun) that breached the walls of Byzantium and allowed the Ottoman dogs a real foothold in Europe. Unforgivable. The Balkans could still be just Bulgaria and Romania would never have existed. Wallachia even battled Hungary, then just to be given to the Ottomans.
Still bitter about the church giving Hagia Sophia to them.
