its not fair on the environment to make coffee in such a wasteful way. Those pod machines are far, far worse tho. Not only do you have those pods to go into landfill but the machines themselves get replaced every other year. Best is to get a packet of ground coffee and make it in a percolator. I noticed mine has been in use for thirty years already.
