Depends. There are sweet paprikas and hot. Hungarian paprikas aren't that hot as some Mexicans and specialty ones, but they can burn nice.
And there are a variety of paprikas, in different shades from green through yellow to dark red. Only some are good for drying, we eat a lot fresh and raw too. They taste like... paprika... Sadly low quality ones pumped with water are often abundant in the markets, with lack of taste.
Chips with paprika is great. I dunno how normal flavoring that is elsewhere.
