I'm currently in a similar situation although I want a long term gf. I found this book called Models - Attract women through honesty, to be quite good. It talks about how pickup artistry works but is unfulfilling. It talks about how overcoming flaws leads to a better life overall and gets you better women. I guess you could also take away from it the cheap hacks to pickup chicks with. I won't judge you.
