I think I have pieced together another clue in the abandoned shopping trolley mystery.

I used to think they ended up abandoned here because people walked their groceries home in them from the supermarket. But that never made sense because there would be trolleys here from supermarkets that are much too far away.

I have just seen someone walking past pushing a trolley with something heavy in it but it was not groceries. Maybe a car part or something like that.

I think these trolleys get used as a form of cargo freight around the neighbourhood. Not just to carry the groceries.
