>Is Men at Work's Down Under considered a proud tune there, still played on the radio? Or is it hated and seen as a mockery of you blokes?
If you had asked a week ago, I'd have said yes. But then 2 days before Australia Day the song's composer came out and said he didn't want 'racist' (ie patriotic) Australians playing it at the Australia Day rallies. At said rallies, people instead chose to chant variations on "joe blogs fuck off" (where joe blogs is the name of the composer I forget). Also said song plagiarised the melody from Kookaburra Sits In The Old Gum Tree.

>Secondly, how the fuck do timezones work there
You can ignore WCT, nobody uses the Nullarbor time zones. The time zones are notionally aligned vertically (so changing left-to-right), however we're in daylight savings now and some states and territories don't belive in it. Hence the NT being behind SA even though they're notionally in the same vertical slice.
