I already live as far as possible from the city without living underground at coober pedy (although that does have its appeals). My hobbies are all about getting into the bush and living there so I am happy with that use of my efforts. Honestly I dont think the community thing is viable because fully committed preppers are unicorns and half assed ones will just end up cruising off you. Imagine being someone's SHTF plan. Ideally I would like a big property with a sniper tower in the middle and a mate or two to man it with gunz. But at the moment I am just focusing on the main threat to my safety and thats me offing myself through depression and anxiety.
