You can have 10,000 lines of code and upgrade the operating system with 8,000 more lines of new code but if the recent 8,000 lines of new code is unnecessary it can compromise the functionality of the original 10,000 lines of code. It's similar to government, you can throw as much taxpayer money as you want to expand government but that doesn't mean you get a better government. I'd much rather have something small of value rather than something massive, over-complicated and burdensome. To me that's convenience.
