Yes, your rent is frozen in NYC. You know what else will be? Utility maintenance. Plumbing. Electrical work. Refurbishing projects. When the government condemns the building? They'll seize it. When they seize it no one else that has a lick of brain would ever invest in that city again. No more apartments get built or invested in. Tenants end up getting evicted. Socialism? You got it suckers! Empty dilapidated and falling apart buildings not worth a cent investing in and definitely more expensive to safely bulldoze.
