They constantly feel like they can get away with anything, don't know how it is nowadays but I don't think it is any better.
Moms and dads raising their daughters as the perfect queens and telling boys all the time they cannot cause hurt to a lady, even with a flower.

Had my lip bitten to blood multiple times, kiss marks left (I guess it is called hickey in English) and attempted kicks.
Don't know, never seen this as normal but as part and parcel.
