Can we take a minute to talk about how ridiculously high the level had to be to achieve literally anything in this Tour?

>10/20 individual stages won by guys with rainbow bands
>Only 2 stages won by "guest" riders (even then Schmid is a top 10 rider this season in terms of points)
>3rd smallest name among stage winners is Kooij, the third best sprinter in the world this year, a guy with 51 pro wins at 24
>Best break rider is a GT winner
>Want to contest the green jersey? Get ready to climb some mountains, buddy (nice mass sprint points buff you got there btw)
>Try to win sprint, best classics rider in the world is leading out his sprinter
>Beat him? Oh yeah, there's another guy so good he doesn't even need a lead out
>Try to finish in the podium, best rider in the world is pacing his prodigy teammate
>Also get beaten by 19 yo prodigy
>Be fatty, "gonna win an ITT or at least a TTT with my team this year"
>Get screwed by sub-63kg guys
