This was me today, in sandals on me old trusty shopping cart mtb.
I do have very similar shoes (all black adidas something gtx) to Brtek as the mainstay and everyday use and light hiking which I don't do a whole lot lately.
Also very comfy Zamberlans for actual hiking where twisting and tweaking your ankles is possible.
