why do people go the the gym when they could just be doing some physical labor at home; and have it actually be useful instead of costing money, traveltime and a /fit/dick up your ass?

Me for example, watered my crops this morning, did some turnover to create a new plot of land for next season, baked a bread (when it's 30° kneading counts as physical labor x2) and masturbated.
