I notice strava also estimates calories like crazy on rides where you have no powermeter even though it underestimates the watts. Idk what the relation is because it should calculate the calories with the watts. I think strava estimation algos are just fucked, some guy copied a bunch of shit together and they never bothered to look into it any further
