It's weird how you're simultaneously aware and unaware that Pogačar is a better climber and a much better puncheur than Vingegaard.
Pogačar has dropped Vingegaard every single time he wanted to in the final meters of a climb. If he was his usual self, there was literally no risk of losing with an attack shortly before the finish.
