Yeah it was just such a nuisance with longer hair and training a lot, I would have had to spend lots of time blowdrying it every day and it just wasn't worth it with the kid and everything. Now instead every week I just go to the local barber and tell him to take a month's growth off (2-2.5cm) and leave the top just slightly longer than the sides. Easy, looks decent, gets the job done.
