They can at least try. You shouldn't have shit like today where 30 fucking guys sprinted for second place with the winner less than a minute up the road.

The problem is people don't want to throw away safe results...sure they can try to chase down Pog, but if they blow up and are caught by peloton, then they finish 50th instead of maybe a top 10. So they race for a top 10 instead of a win because that's what puts food on the table.
