On a course like the EC even 4 or 5 mediocre riders could have at the very least halved the gap between each climb if they do short but rather hard pulls at the front.
But instead you get 2 guys pull with 200w for 10s or so, ayuso idk how much he did and remco pulled with the same watts that he would do if he rode entirely on his own as we've seen once he dropped the rats.

they call them gravel wheels but those are just road wheels, road internal/external width and normal road spoke count. Maybe the hubs are mtb hubs but there's not much reason for that 2bh. I doubt that the rims are super mega reinforced for hardcore offroading, those are just cheap rims. 'Gravel' wheelsets in general are usually just road wheelsets except for ultra wide rims that are super niche

well I have a set of xmcarbonspeed wheels that cost me 800€ with shipping weighting 1175g naked, 50mm with 26mm internal 34mm external width
and another set of 35mm wheels with that width that cost the same and weight like 1100g, because deep wheels look retarded with gravel tires.
I think 1100-1250g is normal for 700-1000€ wheels from the chinese. If you want brass nipples weight goes up a bit and if you want steel spokes you're probably at 1300g I reckon but that also makes the wheel cheaper.
