Yes, that would be the most useful.
Get you your classical machine learning algo running on all your engineered features, do all the tuning needed and then look at all your heat maps and fancy plots but pick the guys yourself.
You can run the backpack optimization for shits but you'll probably be way better.
That would be basically cheating.
