We're in for all-time DIY works this christmas. I bought Nextie carbon wheels for my gravel with integrated dynamo lights, as often here in Finland I might need spike tyres for one week and then normal gravel tyres for the next, I thought it'd be nice to just swap wheels. The original ones have SON dynamo and the new Nextie ones have DT Swiss SP dynamo hub. Now the problem is that the SON one comes with this nice coaxial plug whereas with the DT Swiss one you are supposed to just stick the wires into this hub socket, not optimal and very bad if I want easy swaps for the wheels. So I now bought a female coaxial adapter which I will be soldering into this small wire pigtail which I'll attach to the SP dynamo socket. The last time I ever did any electrical work was in elementary school. My father-in-law will be helping but dunno how it will work in any case.
