I'm mostly being facetious but yeah, it's always about hedging safe bets but it always ends up as the same LN series they were stuck with for the last few years but the numbers filed off. I just sort of wish actual creativity could return. I'm just thinking of shit like Ghost Hound as what I want originals to be: at worst, just kind of decent but nothing special, different but that's fine. Instead it's always just the same trends plaguing adaptations too.
