Yeah, maaaaybe he could thought his life is in immediate danger. Not sure how Murrican laws are drafted, when is it justified to use deadly force. But she was climbing through the window, no weapon in her hands (both occupied with the climbing). There were security and police on the other side, noone harmed them. Maybe he wasn't aware, although at the beginning of the footage a bunch of them stood on the side where the woman tried to enter. The barricade is some meters away from him, noone could reach him quick. No sign of weapons - beside what his fellow uniformed peeps carried.
I don't buy it it was justified.

Besides that is the house of the people, people should be allowed to enter.
