I'm researching Indian football since this >>41180 question made me curious.
The fact that the current Indian national team does not include a player who plays for any notable team (basically they play only for Indian teams) tells a lot. I'd assume it's relatively easy to get into British leagues from there, procedure/bureaucracy wise, which means they basically not good enough.
Checked some result of their national team, they got beaten by North Korea couple years back. Not very shiny. Teams which qualify for World Cups, such as Japan, beat them bad normally. I would say their football is worse than Hungary's.
Judging by the tone of Wikipedia articles they are optimistic about their football however, sometimes calling their top players on various colorful names, liek "Sikkimese Sniper".

Now players of Indian origin, born in Europe, seems to perform all right. Sometimes. They even called up for European national teams (found France and Norway). They can be found in the rosters or top teams like Feyenoord, Ajax, and Premier League clubs. Tho haven't noticed any of them presented something exceptional.

Picrel current captain of their national team (Captain Fantastic). Wikipee says he can boast with the fact he scored the second most goals on international fixtures (among active players), after Christiano Ronaldo.

Something is brewing in France, can be a nothingburger or just a preparation for the next presidential election (they are about the half time to that, it comes in 2022). A draft of a new law package was leaked, it's aligned with the declared intention of Macron and the French government to force secularism onto the Muslim citizens of France.
It is ofc a step that has to be taken (since they have to react with something, they can't just walk by of these) after the recent attacks in France, the beheading of the teacher, and the knife attack in Nice.
The article presents basically one point of these laws, namely to teach children about the democratic values of France, and taking away the formation of the narrative from Muslim educational institutions. This means the ban of homeschooling, registration of the students of private schools, and the supervision of those schools by closing down unaccredited ones. Furthermore it might forces everyone else (native the French population) to stop homeschooling their kids. The article mentions special exceptions and not sure how prominent this kind of education in France.
The article doesn't really talk about the other parts of this proposition. But I found more in a Hungarian article.
They would have also regulated the curriculum of the higher education, they want to steer from the wind blowing from America which preach about systemic racism and Islamophobia, because it undermines the usual French view of secularism regardless of race or religion. In the end it seems they'll leave this out, however they will ban assembles intending to disturb of peace and order of the institutions. No more lynching of teachers, they wish.
A third law would introduce censorship with the ban of sharing nasheeds over social media, plus banning live broadcast/narrowcast of demonstrations (and how police beats up demonstrators). In parallel they would enable the police to use drones in the monitoring of public spaces and live feed from police bodycams (not to the public ofc).

Managed to get into Hungarian news too.

And parents. Indeed, control of the children's mind is prerogative of the democratic state. Nothing new, this would simply bring muslims in line with the rest of goyim.

The basis of their reasoning is that Christianity is already banished from the decision making process of the state (they can participate as lobbyists ofc) basically in all Christian countries. Secular state means this, the division of government and religion. Religion is a private matter not a public.
However in the countries of Islam rarely this is the case (if at all) and the immigrants bring this mentality with them. I haven't read Koran, but I would bet 10 HUF that according to Islam the state and Islam is inseparable. Luttwak in his book about coups he mentions that in Muslim countries no coupists dare to mess with the church, everyone has to declare their fidelity to Islam.
So the growing numbers of Muslims in Europe will be a problem, and now Macron and co. try to address this by educating/raising them that no church has a place in the politics of the state. It seems to me they try to create their "liberal/moderate Islam" they already preach about a few years now despite it does not exist. Islam is one, although there are groups who try to gain power through it (most notably ISIS, but as far as I know Erdogan also plays that game, just in a softer form). The weak secular Christians can't stop the influence of the Islam, every new child born, every new immigrant arriving it gets stronger and gains more playground. Those who whisper in the ears of the imams can control what the masses think, and as long as not the French government is the whisperer those masses are potential source of terrorism (although I'm not sure this is the right term to use) but more importantly they can exploit them less as voter base.
So all in all I don't think it is just a reaction to make France more safe from Islam inspired attacks, but to secure the new voters, so just daily politics as always.
Also one of the article mentions that the larger part of young Muslims does not care about the role of Islam in politics, but growing number of youth turns to radical ideas and fundamentalism.

>Secular state means this, the division of government and religion.
Nothing to do with state structure. France doesn't need to excise islam from its system of government and that's not the topic at hand. The topic is quite simply maintaining control over the effectively dominant ideology among the pleb. As usual this will be done by exploiting the monopoly over """education""" and other channels of public opinion formation. In the case of muslims the monopoly status is currently partially challenged. Something which they apparently intend to "fix".
>Religion is a private matter not a public.
Religion is absolutely a public matter lol. Let's paraphrase: you might not care about $religion but $religion certainly cares about you. Religion does not stop at faith and supernatural experience. It has always been a public power centre because it can influence masses, well perhaps with exception of the absolutely fake and gay western christianity of current times.
Yeah, I get that you just wanted to support the previous "secular state" comment, but at best you just repeated it.
>Islam is one, although there are groups who try to gain power through it
Another group that tries to gain power through it: muslims. Islam is a challenger in many respects to the state-sanctioned liberal-judeo-homo-democratic "religion" in france and those sandniggers who haven't swallowed the poz will want to leverage it for their common interest. The "faithful" are not all useful idiots acting as mere pawns for external puppetmasters.

>Hopefully they had women too
Not sure. Originally the article of the Belgian newspaper said "mostly men", since then I saw foreign articles like this >>41273 one saying in the title "gay orgy", trying to underline the contrast between the recent law that passed banning gay marriages (or whatever). Hungarian sites talk about his drug possession and use.

I wrote what they think, what they base their reasoning, how they justify the new laws coming.
>Religion is absolutely a public matter lol.
What you do in your bedroom too. But not how it is treated, not how current political theory views the matter, not what the masses think. The political reality of the now is that religion is a private matter. It's noone's business what religion you follow which church you subscribe to. When they collecting data with census, you can deny the answer to the question about your religion. Constitutions typically guarantee the freedom of religion. Because it is considered as private matter, it is treated as private matter. Very few non-Muslim country has a state religion due to this.

Essentially propaganda combat videos what I thought they are writing but now I'm reading the paragraph in the article again and it might be about videos made by civilians about police. "Gewaltorganisation" is the word. They add that they can share such videos with blurring/censoring out the insignias and details that can be used to ID the person (face, nametag, etc. I think).

Btw, the articles use expressions quoted from the politicians. The politicians talk about creating the "Islam of Enlightenment" or ending "Islamist separatism". Well ofc, you can point out their baloney. I bet there are more article in English (if you are native English speaker) or in any other foreign language (well chiefly in French for sure).

Got you.
>What you do in your bedroom too.
No, this is not at all comparable. I guess one could say that "what one does in the bedroom" is a public matter when e.g. one is building a nerve gas bomb in his bedroom. In such case it is the "public" (or those purporting to represent the public) who may have an interest in the "private". But this not at all what I meant. Religion is a public matter primarily because its raison d'etre is influencing, guiding, "helping", "saving" the public. Religion is not a pastime. Notice that I refer to "religion", the institution(s) -the "real" ones, not the fake-and-gay ones-, and not to personal religious practice, which is most of what you allude to.
>Islam of Enlightenment
Yeah I guess they don't really hide it. Should just call it unitarian islam, and merge it with "christianity of enlightnement" as well, because what difference does it make? It's the same universalist "enlightenment" in a slightly different attire. Or maybe "scientific islam". Science is good, who could possibly object lol?

Bernd 12/09/2020 (Wed) 17:33:58 [Preview] No.41452 del
>Religion is a public matter primarily because its raison d'etre is influencing, guiding, "helping", "saving" the public.
Or with other words: the business of religion is morality, which is a public matter.
Sexuality is very much belongs to morality. A large part of who a person is, how they act and behave is influenced by, drive by sexual urges (and the motivating factors behind that). People are motivated to do thins, to be interested in things because they want to find one or more partners to mate with. We can leave our acts behind closed doors, but we can't leave behind a chunk of our personality.
I'm gonna try to paint a picture about how great part sexuality is of who we are and how it influences us via an example. Music and songs. For most people music and songs are undividedly intertwines with sexuality. For them it is part of the mating ritual. They go to clubs to dance to music and find partners. And they have sex while listening to music. And this will influence their preference in music. They don't listen to music just for the music at all. And they'll be horrified if they would hear - let's say - "Rust in Peace... Polaris" by Megadeth, which is about a weapon system and nuclear holocaust. They can't imagine such songs exist. For them songs are about love, tunes are just imitation of the rhythm of sex. They go to classical music concerts because that means high status sex.
Besides homosexuals demand additional rights based on their sexual preference. That is a public matter.

Sure. When destructive complexes and diseases like homosexualism -and all the related in-vogue perversions and paraphilias from the west- are being exposed and even promoted to the public it becomes unavoidable to treat it as a public matter, similar to how say tobacco, alcohol, or drugs abuse must be.

Sexuality is a very good sample from the things that treated as private matter, presented as private matter, so a good parallel to religion to show the difference between the public thinking, the "de facto" treatment of things and how ideally should be.
So what Macron and co. says is withing the norms of current public and political thinking - was my original point I think.

Btw while I don't believe that religion is a private matter, and do think the various Churches has considerable influence in the political process (for example priests can and sometimes do express expectations toward their congregations how they should vote), the Church is not integral part of the process anymore - so hereabout we have secular states - because back then as the First Estate (see: estates of the realm) they had secured places in the legislative bodies, and their highest ranking prelates were part of the governments (the various councils of the monarchs), but now this isn't the case.

A peacock, called Boris, was stolen, killed and eaten by public workers in a small town on the Hungary. The bird was the pride of a family recently moved to the settlement, and became a local curiosity, an attraction which people visited (even school classes and such) took photos of and with. Could have lived for 50 years, but only got 5.
The perpetrator confessed the crime and got 1 year prison, suspended for 2 years, for theft and animal torture.
The theoretical value of the bird might even equaled with 100 kilos of beef.

Yeah we are in the dire need of some more exotic animals to eat. Maybe some protected species too.

It is actually 2 years suspended prison. Maybe should have wrote just that since I'm far from sure about the correct translation of legal terms generally. Basically for the next two years if he does something illegal and get caught, then he has to sit what he gets for that crime and one year on top of that for this one.
He will do just fine his rap sheet is clean.

For theft and animal torture.
Here are the penalties one can get here:
- warning (I think it can be spoken or written, then the latter is more strict);
- probation (for a certain duration if the perp commits another crime that will be measured more strictly);
- fine;
- public work (without pay) - depending on the amount this can be considered less harsh than paying a fine, sometimes fines can be cleared with public work, or vice versa I think - but one can choose to go to prison instead (one day equals to certain amount of HUF) as well;
- suspended prison;
- prison - this has three levels of harshness (beside the duration) which I can't translate but unrelated our topic anyway.
The perpetrator in this case is a public worker who earns miserable amount of money (less than minimum wage), he has three children, no wife (so it is considered he raises his kid from his wage alone - despite he may have a partner). The judge could have issued public work as a punishment, so he would do the same job without a wage in return, but then how he will feed his kids? Could have issued a fine, but they examined if he can pay back the peacock's value, he was unable to, so he couldn't have settled the fine either. Assuming the judge followed similar logic, he couldn't penalize him with probation, which would be just too light. On top of this the case found it's way to the media, so not just in that little town, but all over Hungary many people got riled up because of this. So I believe the judge then moved to the harsher punishments, and issued the suspended prison, where the minimum amount is a 2 years sentence.
Considering the perp has no criminal record, it's a safe bet that no crime will follow this one. He can continue to work, and earn money, he just has to behave (also he has to report to a "patron", a help helper who talks with him about how he is doing, or what he can change in his life to better it, etc - this maybe once a month). So all in all the judge found a way that satisfied everyone. Well I think at least.

I was just musing what the world will do when the next epidemic/pandemic brokes out in China. They always have something. SARS, MERS, FARCE... it's inevitable for a new to arise. Will everyone shut down flights to and from China, like how they do it now with the UK? Will they allow their ships to anchor in their ports? Will they screen everyone who comes out from there? How will the governments justify it when they won't do all this? How will they handle it instead? "Oh we'll just wear mask and be careful"?

The people are afraid of returning their homes, they try to find alternative places to sleep, from barracks through stadiums to their cars. On 31th many settlements were still lacking in electricity and heating. Nice fugging New Years Eve.

From the larger quakes in Hungary we are relatively safe, mid strength ones (around 6 like the Croatian) occur about every 50 years. Small ones, below humanly perceivable level, >100 happens a year. I experienced one, was around 3,5 magnitude on the Richter scale.
The quakes here are the results of the collision and movements of African and Eurasian plates. Croatia is toward the south closer to the events, so I guess they got hit a little more frequently in a noticeable way. Besides I read somewhere in the Adria it's Italy which causes troubles as it moves around like a lever or something. I bet Slovborg could talk about this a lot lot.
What's happening in Croatia now is a bit extreme, even tho this 6 is just moderate.

Well it's a way of pouring money into economy which doesn't look like a handout but actual spending on something which is in demand. Ofc some people will be richer during the process, maybe even slip some of that wealth into a couple of govt. functionaries' pocket.

Btw the article says Hungary needs to inoculate 600-700 thousands of people to make the thing work (and they already registered for it). In a country of 9 million isn't that much.

I don't know if this still goes on but some time ago a Hungarian radio channel had comedy afternoons one day per week (and on New Years Eve comedy night). This practice went back far into the communism, they broadcasted political humour, this was an accord with an official policy on behalf of the government: giving people a valve they can let out the steam with.
They also published books with the collected program they aired, satires, monologues ("stand up comedy"), dialogues, songs and poems, etc., and their writers also published books with their works, these could be new ones, or the ones already aired, or ones that were played in theaters. So I probably read this: it was a short monologue, a presentation about code and decode, what the official news said and how it should be read; it was about that oh we all know what they actually mean, we all understand. Sadly I can't tell examples from this, I simply don't remember.
What the comedian said to the audience was truth in it's core (this is why it was funny). Irl people knew what the communist government meant, like "defending the peace" meant raising military spending, or "for the interest of Hungary" meant the interest of the Soviet Union or the interest of the Party. People had the ear for this by the end.
I think people now miss that decoder in their head, when they read something in the news they really believe it, or they really believe it literally, can't fill the gaps, read between the lines anymore. They can't see that when the man in the suit says: "it's global pandemic" he means: "it's time to give me more money".

Nod really. Most voters aren't really active in anything. Plus it's a fair guess most of these people were from DC and nearby. (Ok. The east coast is chokefull of people and for American scales every major city is nearby. So you have a point there, even 200-300 thousand of people isn't that much compared.)

Even with the large % of passive and apathetic voters it would be still be easy for them to amass 100s of thousands, and remember that the maga crowd was getting more tightly knit and cult-like not less (exactly the same can be said about the liberast npcs, it's part of the polarization). Also I'm not talking just about this congress mob episode. as I said they are fools for waiting this long, they should have been crowding the streets (and congress why not) months ago. Anyway I think it would have been equally easy for them to put truly massive public rallies before the election (it may be different now that trump showed, for the nth and hopefully definitive time, how fake and gay his political posture is by humiliating himself and his supporters while absconding from his base). In this case you have already provided one refutation, but I learned that actually they did have a much larger crowd -maybe in the low 10s of thousands- apparently in some area toward the back of the congress where the rally was gathered (the 1-2 thousand that occupied the entrance and the subset of these that entered the building was supposedly a prong that extended from those). Also I have read that supposedly there were many more (in the 100s of thousands) in a march that had taken place earlier in the city. So yes really.
Relatedly, I read that faceberg took it upon itself to purge posts about the rally (after the trespassing but before the mass theater and circus and subsequent purges that took place once the establishment concocted and published its ""insurrection"" narrative). Which reminds me of Assange: probably the establishment does not want the boots-on-the-street subset of the maga crowd to see and show to others its number, it could encourage others to join them. Compare to few months ago when the day didn't have enough hours to publicize and agitate for Mostly Peaceful Protesting arsonists, burglars, and rioters, and to weep and moan for the death of criminal junkie St. Nigger. It's has become plain, diaphanous, how imbricated the corporate powers are into the state apparatus of the USA. Now that the Trump Anomaly has passed, now that the reins of the empire are firmly in their hands again, will they quietly move back into the shade? They will if they are self-aware. If not, we will have learned how deeply their own poisonous ink has infected them.
>No. There is no point, they can't coup the US...
LMFAO Hungary. You too with the "coup" nonsense? I think you are smart enough to realize the idiocy of that proposition. The incompetent histrionic buffon Drumpf, King of the Jerusalem, and "his" few thousand rag tag Qanon morons and neckbeard gaymer congress-desecrators (and pantifa infiltrates, if you want to believe that) will take over the empire by breaking into the [please rise to your feet now and read with grave solemnity] Church of Democracy, setting up flags and banners, loitering about, taking gay photos of themselves, breaking some windows? Or even fantasising that they were fully armed and literally took hold of the whole Temple, apprehended and disarmed all security officers, arrested or expelled (or executed lol!) the politicians and "civil servants" which hadn't fled in time, sat in their chairs and proclaimed and promulgated Drumpf their God Emperor-elected of USA. What would that have achieved? Would have they "couped the US"? "Cmon man!" The trespassers never intended to "coup the US" and they never could have anyway, whether they had a "good armed fraction" or not. You must know this, I saw you (probably, I'm not around here much but if I have to bet there is only one magyar hat) post something from a book chronicling coups and overthrows (by a certain filthy neocon kike IIRC). Trump, the populist in the mind of his base, not the histrion in the palms of the Blue techno-judeo establishment, controlled almost nothing in "his" government, he had no powerful allies (the histrion did, on the "other" side),

Trump, the populist in the mind of his base, not the histrion in the palms of the Blue techno-judeo establishment, controlled almost nothing in "his" government, he had no powerful allies (the histrion did, on the "other" side), not in academia, not in the media, not in the banks, not in technocapital or the Silicon Slit, not in military, not in foreign powers... What did he "have"? He "had" the numerous maga crowd and the Qtard cultists. And he "had" the symbolic, and misplaced and deluded, hope of the vilified white middle USA. And for a while, up to early 2017, for a whole 4 months of his presidency lol, he tentatively "had" the hopes of an assorted bunch of US and international shitposters. This is not how a coup d'etat is carried out. Suggesting it is pure guile, or a joke. How about co-opting remote voting procedures for "non-fraudulent election fraud"? Is that a "coup"? No need to answer.
As I said I wasn't talking only about this impromptu congress tour, but also the period during and after the nigger topics riots. And I told you what is the point: "show of strength". Which is all that the rally and trespassing really could have been. The election was lost, fixed, stolen, whatever. They weren't going to get it back, Drumptard and Qtard delusions notwithstanding. But they still have to live through the coming re-fueled cultural-marxist "regime" which poses the not insignificant risk of continuing in its path of effectively abolishing or disabling USA's 1st and 2nd constitution amendment. The point is then simply to increase pressure and risk of the coming govt, to show it and the other half of the population that stakes are high in case they decide to go too crazy, and also to increase confidence and integration among their own.
>they can't even start a civil war
More nonsense. Civil wars generally don't have a definite start, no declarations and such. There is a conflict and it grows out of control. It is usually a gradient. But ultimately I do believe that there is no real chance for a civil war. I think USians don't have the spirit and spine and heart needed to fight and suffer what will inescapably be a long and bloody struggle against a brutal and all-powerful enemy (I would imagine Ireland-like situation but far worse for the "guerrilla/native insurgents", unless there is a benefitial split in military personnel and infrastructure). Life is too comfortable, they are too affluent, too hedonistic, too distracted. They are not desperate enough.
>Accelerationists are braindead idiots.
Non sequitur. Acceleration would be something like voting Foo while under the conviction that he will further ruin the nation/country, with the pretext that any other choice at best delays the inevitable. Such thing is indeed retarded. It is also unrelated to what I was discussing.

Okay let's put this here, since it's about what goes down in the US:
Fags chasing away people from their platforms, and people move to Russian and Chinese ones because they can discuss American politics more freely there.
I'm just thinking that antitrust thingy was going on against some of the big five, one congressman/senator also asked Zuckerberg if Facebook has a competitor or is it a monopoly, Trump also found problematic the monopoly of Twitter and the others. Maybe this is the way they're creating their competition without the need to dismantle those tech giants, and fucking them over with the antitrust laws.

I read this one, I reply before I forget.
First thing first, which I already referred to. I didn't suggest they went there to execute a coup. I was trying to figure out situations where those guns could came in handy - you supposed a scenario with tens of thousands of people with a good fraction armed -, and ruled out every possibility because they aren't possible.
Back to the first part of your post.
Who even organizes these maga demonstrations? Here only parties and trade unions can put large amount of people onto the streets, up to about 200 thousand people. Well only right wing ones could from the parties, organizing transports from the country to Budapest, party leaders giving speech at the Parliament or on the most important squares with enough space for that many people. This makes me question if spontaneously that many people could gather without someone - like Trump - waiting them out in the field. But Trump do no such things except when they organize campaign for the election, and it does not seem that the Republican party would do anything.
>Trump Anomaly
Was that an anomaly really? Maybe a bit ridiculous in his communications both spoken and in tweets (which is an absolute new way of making statements, essentially he is a pioneer in this), but all in all I think as far as presidents go was he really stood out in an irregular way? Maybe crossing to North Korea, talking with the most recent Kim in person is a rare thing, but not out of the place as far as the system goes.
>how imbricated the corporate powers are into the state apparatus of the USA.
Actually I'm a bit shitting meself from the Big Five these days. If they would embargo a country, they could paralyze one. People, businesses, and even the state government relies on their various services heavily. Mail, file sharing, various communications, phones, payments, stores... they could hinder work, isolate people from each other, organizations similarly, shut down computers (MS could block logging in on Win10 or maybe even earlier versions). Government bureaucrats share documents, even state secrets via their services. Heh tens of thousands of teenagers would go bonkers they can't poke at their phones all day. All the private crap they know about people (who themselves exposed themselves to them) too. They essentially could shut down Hungary. And I bet even larger countries, or the whole EU, or the US itself. They are like public utility companies without even the pretense of public control.

Basically replied to this too in my previous post. I did not suggest that they went there to make a coup or civil war, etc., what I wrote was a reaction to your proposal that they should have guns. I was trying to figure out what could led people to do such nonsense.
>Acceleration would be something like
...something like wishing for more such shooters as Tarrant and the others to provoke harsher and harsher reactions from the system, oppressing the people to a level where they will be "desperate enough" to finally act en masse and turn the tide or spiral into total destruction so a new, better world could rise from the ashes or some other bs.
...something like wishing for more people at the capitol with guns to trigger the reaction.
Again, it was your idea, the good fraction of those people with guns.

>Spanish colonists adopted the Spanish word mapache from the Nahuatl mapachtli of the Aztecs, meaning "[the] one who takes everything in its hands".[11] In many languages, the raccoon is named for its characteristic dousing behavior in conjunction with that language's term for bear, for example Waschbär ('wash-bear') in German, Huan Xiong (浣熊 'wash-bear') in Chinese, dvivón róchetz (דביבון רוחץ 'washing-bear[dim]') in Hebrew, orsetto lavatore ('little washer bear') in Italian, and araiguma (洗熊 (あらいぐま) 'washing-bear') in Japanese. Alternatively, only the washing behavior might be referred to, as in Russian poloskun (полоскун, 'rinser').

The EU is preparing to enact a law targeting Big Tech (they defined a category with the name of gatekeepers), they're trying to crack their monopoly via regulations, providing better chance for small businesses to compete.
Here's some highlights from the protonmail blogpost, what the proposed law does:
Article 5(a) — Don’t mix personal data without a user’s explicit consent
This would prevent gatekeepers from combining personal data collected from their core platform services with personal data collected from other services or from a data broker without explicit consent. It would also prevent them from forcing you to automatically sign in to all of a gatekeeper’s services if you only want to sign in to one.
Article 5(c) — Do allow business users to promote offers to end users
In effect, gatekeepers would be required to allow businesses to inform their customers about alternative purchase options.
Article 5(e) — Don’t force business users to adopt the platform’s authentication system.
Businesses could still choose to use the gatekeeper’s ID system, but it would not be required.
Article 5(f) — Don’t cross-tie core products.
Gatekeepers would not be able to force users to sign up for one of its core services as a precondition to getting access to another of its services or products. Gatekeepers’ products and services would be available to users separately.

cont. Bernd 01/29/2021 (Fri) 19:41:54 [Preview] No.42328 del
Article 6(a) — Don’t spy on business users to gain an unfair competitive advantage.
Currently, gatekeepers can use private data from their platform and monitor their business users’ data to determine how to place, price, and advertise competing goods or services. The DMA would ban this practice.
Article 6(b) — Do allow users to uninstall any pre-installed software applications
Gatekeepers would have to allow their users to uninstall any pre-installed software applications that are not essential to running the hardware.
Article 6(c) — Do allow third-party app stores and users to side-load apps.
Under the DMA, gatekeepers would only be allowed to prevent third-party app stores if they damage or undermine the “integrity of the hardware or operating system.”
Article 6(d) — Don’t give preference to platforms’ own products in rankings.
Gatekeepers would not be able to unfairly rank their own products and services more favorably than their competitors.
Article 6(e) — Don’t lock users in.
Gatekeepers would not be able to technically restrict users from deleting apps or switching away from default apps. They also cannot force users to use a particular internet service provider.
Article 6(f) — Do make platforms interoperable with other service providers.
Gatekeepers would have to make their platforms open to some key third-party service providers, like payment providers, digital identity providers, or ad-tech sellers, on the same terms as their own services.
Article 6(h) — Do make data portable and continuously accessible in real time.
Gatekeepers would have to give all users the ability to download their data and take it to a rival. They must also make both end and business user data continuously accessible in real time to their competitors.
Article 6(i) — Do give businesses access to their own data.
Gatekeepers would have to give business users real-time, continuous access to high-quality data from the gatekeepers’ platform about their sales, customers, and other commercial activity.
Article 6(k) — Do provide fair and nondiscriminatory access to app stores.
The DMA states that gatekeepers that manage app stores would have to accept apps onto their platform in a fair and nondiscriminatory manner.

Generally sounds ok. Makes me wonder how all this gonna make everyone's life more inconvenient. Like those "select your cookies" popups the last EU regulations forced onto websites.
I see article 5(a) becoming nuisance for some:
>It would also prevent them from forcing you to automatically sign in to all of a gatekeeper’s services if you only want to sign in to one.
Finest example is Google, now for all their crap (email, maps, docs, drive, youtube, etc.) users have to sign in separately. Or let's just switch everything to "remember password" and automatic signing in, effectively making this regulation useless.

I think the real way out of this would be to raise user consciousness. People need to understand what they are doing, and they need information to decide what service to use and what not.

It is also interesting that Russian wiki says that raccoons first appeared in Eurasia and then moved to Americas through land bridge, and then became extinct in Old World because viverrids took their place in ecosystem. But nowadays raccoons are pretty tough and endurant animals, and it is hard to imagine that they could lose to someone.

>Was that an anomaly really?
Yes. A clear outsider to the US political system; wealthy, but crass (culturally, politically), outside the spectrum of PC rhetoric, a "populist" (fake in effect, but real in rhetoric), a dumb TV show host for Christ sake :^). You can see how much of an anomaly he was simply by observing the extreme level of "immunological reaction" in the establishment (media, academia, technocrats, glowinthedarks, career politicians, vassal subsystems, etc) to his unexpected "infiltration".
At the end of his mandate, we can of course observe that the results are, after so much "blood and tears" and specially hysteria, really not much out the norm for the US. In fact most of us realised there wouldn't be much change already short months after elected. But here's some clear example of irregularity (apart from what was already mentioned): USA has been at war for a very significant majority of its history, IIRC near 90% if calendar years at war are counted. Very few US presidents can be said not to have started a war. I'm sure these 4 consecutive years without war are rare in US history. So while overall the empire didn't change much during his presidency, he was indeed out of the norm.
He is now gone, for good I bet. His voters though continue to be outside the norm. Which is why the system's leukocytes continue to attack them. They need to fight back or will be swallowed.
>People, businesses, and even the state government relies on their various services heavily. Government bureaucrats share documents, even state secrets via their services.
When was very young and I would see ads for businesses and govt agencies where the communication channels would be telephone numbers and email addresses. Then mostly email addresses. Then only handles for a handful of US gay area companies. It was baffling to me how people were so seemingly oblivious to the fact that they were in short surrendering part of their sovereignty. Could they not picture in their heads the networks? Could they not see they were basically outsourcing the state infrastructure?
>Heh tens of thousands of teenagers would go bonkers they can't poke at their phones all day.

Germany’s former Chancellor Gerhard Schröder stated in his latest book “Letzte Chance” (The Last Chance) that Turkey has become an “incontrovertible dominant force” in the eastern Mediterranean.

“Europe should accept the fact that Turkey became a dominant force in the eastern Mediterranean. Whether they like this or not,” said the 77-year-old ex-chancellor in the book he wrote with Gregor Schöllgen, a history professor lecturing at the universities of New York, Oxford and London.

Stressing the need for new world order, Schröder picked a special part for Turkey, China and Russia in his book.

“A new world order, that we need, is a last chance for the West. Turkey, China and Russia are important actors in world politics. The West will lose if they act to these countries with the mentality of the Cold War,” Schröder noted.

Reminding the history of the Turkey-EU relations, the former Chancellor highlighted the “mistakes of the Europeans.”

“The contrast with Turkey and the West is the result of the European Union’s wrong politics. We Europeans, especially the Germans, saw this country [Turkey] and its citizens with a humiliating and pretentious manner,” he added.

Schröder underlined that Germany was the only country in the EU that wanted Turkey as a member of the bloc.

“Since the Ankara Agreement in 1963, no other country than Germany opened an EU membership perspective to Turkey. But except the last era of the [Social Democratic Party of Germany] SPD-Greens coalition, none of them were frank [to Turkey],” he said.

According to Schröder, Europe’s “delaying tactics” for Turkey’s EU membership is inadmissible. “Asking Turkey to fulfill the conditions for the visa liberalization and delaying the important improvements at EU membership negotiations at the same means saying, ‘We do not want you.’”

“If you [West] condemn Turkey for its presence and fighting in Iraq, Syria, Libya and Nagorno-Karabakh, then you should not pay Turkey to stop the migrants who come from warzones to enter Europe. This policy does not get on well with the West [which does not exist anymore] and its virtues, that it utters from time to time.”

“Thinking that a new government that would come to power after [Turkish President] Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, will review the country’s global politics and give up being a force in the eastern Mediterranean, is just ‘not knowing the chalk from cheese.’ Turkey will not do this.”

Schröder, who was the chancellor of Germany between 1998 and 2005, remarks on the latest developments in Syria in his book.

The war in Syria cannot be finished without Ankara’s and Moscow’s consents. Turkey has a key role in Syria, he said.

“As the problems in Ukraine cannot be solved without Putin, it is hard to end the migration crisis without Erdoğan. The era of Turkish ministers and presidents standing in waiting rooms of Bonn or Berlin under humiliating circumstances is over,” he added.

The Social Democrat also pointed to the former U.S. President Donald Trump’s threats to “crackdown Turkey’s economy.”

Erdoğan coldly met the threat, Schrider noted and listed the reasons.

“Firstly U.S. army is dependent on the İncirlik and Kürecik bases. Secondly, Turkey has now a notable weapon industry. They produce and sell their own unmanned aerial vehicles. Ankara’s weapon industry and some countries’ dependence on these weapons make Turkey approach to its target of being a force in the eastern Mediterranean.”

He has a point.
Maybe Turkey isn't viable for joining the EU based on the criteria fresh recruits have to comply to, but the EU's importance in global politics is slowly dwindling and keeping Turkey out, and the general treatment of Turkey Schröder talks about, just alienating Turkey and pushing her orientation toward Russia and China.
Sure Turkey is a NATO member but that doesn't mean she can't have different take on political and economic issues.
With Turkey joining the EU could gain a lot in relevance in world politics, more influence in Africa and the Middle East, in Central Asia too, most likely even in Russia. This would come with several caveats however. The structure of power, and balance in the EU would change in an instant, I'm not sure exactly at the moment how it would rearrange what would change - I need to think about it more, this whole topic is sudden for me - but there would be a lot. Some changes, rearrangements should be made in the foreign politics of the EU too - this also need some chewing on my part. Poor Armenians would be fucked over for sure, essentially they would be pushed closer to Russia, no hope for them elsewhere internationally anymore.
Also what would happen with Turkey? After some time their citizens would be free to move within the EU, would they migrate by the millions to Western Europe? They would also lose from their economic independence, Western EU countries and the companies there don't want other competitors to join in and ruin their party.

Well without us, Macros dreams of strategically autonomous EU won't happen. We would be military backbone of EU. If EU needs to emerge as 3rd polar they need us as much as we need them.

>would they migrate by the millions to Western Europe?
Italy has send 20 millions of them in America in short of time. I expect numbers to be low but still millions would flood the EU. But given the time with investiture of Turkey's currently rural parts, racism in EU and developing the country with fully integrated economy, I can't see why most of us would go and stay there. "The I want to live in Europe forever" thing is a recent phenomenon, in 80's and 90's many of us just wanted to go to Europe, save money and become kingz in Turkey because why the fuck not?

>Poor Armenians would be fucked over for sure, essentially they would be pushed closer to Russia, no hope for them elsewhere internationally anymore.
Probably EU would also welcome them, we also would. You know why? Because we can't connect with Azerbaijan mainland without Armenia's land. The recent highway thing is quite fragile. And Armenia does not want to give Megri corridor in exchange of upper Karabakh. This solution is called goble deal. If only everyone else were people like me! Close quote. Yes, this would be excellent. But it isn't practicable. People are simply too stupid/unwise. These regulations won't work either. Want to avoid monopoly? Force them to split, keep them apart. Don't want? Buy their local assets by decree, sell to national companies. Inefficient? Inconvenient? Deal with it. Free markets schmarkets.
But I bet they are not really interested in having truly "free" platforms. Can you see how the western liberast ideology twists around their own throats?
Any reasonable European would consider the first sentence utterly fallacious. WTF is the problem with condemning the warring while also implementing policies (such as economic incentives) to prevent consequences of these wars (massive immigration from alien people) from negatively affecting your nation(s)? The problem, the german politician seems to recognise in the second sentence, lies in what he calls "Western virtues", but which really have little to do with traditional virtues and are just the degenerate and hypocritical sensitivities of sorosites on one side of the coin and the by-design globalist projects of neo-libs/neo-cons on the other.

>The recent highway thing is quite fragile.
In what sense do you mean this? Do you refer just to the fact that the connection depends on a single piece of civil infrastructure, or do you have doubts about Russia's security guarantees for the project?

Bernd 02/07/2021 (Sun) 16:35:42 [Preview] No.42495 del
I believe in western virtues but due to current political climate they are interpreted as something quite dogmatic, fixed as if it's a catholig dogma in middle ages. I just dont like it when politicians take advantage from such ideas, religions, creed etc. you get the idea. I do believe in the western civilization but the politicians support butchered version of it and expect other fully following fixed western values will bring peace and prosperity all across the world. Countries have different dynamics, different backgrounds and culture therebefore this preaching of orthodox western values is quite stupid not to mention it contradicts the values itself since criticism is one of the core values. Currently EU complaining too much as they afford to preach "friendship&tolerance" since they are not sleeping next to the snakes den.

>In what sense do you mean this?
Russia wont want Turkey-Azerbaijan mainland connection, it opens Turkestan passage which is currently Russians and China's sphere of influence. Also in long run Russia will drift away from China and deal with EU (in 20-30 years probably) so they don't need another contender in there.

First they told the next wave will be even more horrible than the previous ones, and they're pushing vaccination. Sure some people don't trust vaccines, there are anti-vaxxers too, but most voices are against certain vaccines, like the Chinese. Some people just want X or Y brand vaccine, and simply not enough are available at the stations so they were told, "you get what's available, or you go to the end of the queueueue". I guess they want to pressure people to accept any vaccine.
Anyway, in the next two weeks every fucking shop will be closed, except for groceries, pharmacies, gas stations and such. Mandatory mask outside again. It's about Israel and how close herd immunity is for them. From the almost 10 million people they inoculated half and they aim to 95%. But now finally restaurants, pubs and all the services can be opened. People state how they enjoy the newfound freedom and can sit in a catering place and don't have to worry about their fellow customers infecting them. Max 20 people can be at such places at once and they have to practice social distancing by leaving at least a desk free between them... It's liek before the pandemic innit?
Oh they gave green cards for the vaccinated and those who came through the illness. Those without green cards cannot enter the reopened places.

In case you missed it: 2 days ago it was announced that Tanzanian president has died of heart disease, after his 2 week disappearance and messages from his government that he's well and healthy.
This comes after two of his cabinet members died of corona last month, after he has denounced the pandemic as a hoax for a year, going as far as testing a goat and watermelon positive on WHO tests to prove they're a scam, and after rumours that he's been secretly accepted for treatment for corona in Nairobi, Kenya.

Today the new president sworn in: she's from Zanzibar.

>It occurred to me that our news sites (and therefore our people) seem to believe that China only has ~90000 cases of corona.
>If the numbers are correct then the vaccine cannot be useless.

China had comparable numbers before working vaccine (although they had experimental ones), and claims that it is all about proper quarantine and strength of their society. I.e. initial outbreak was quarantined, and now only rare cases of covid may happen, and they easily isolated.

Actually, they had no lockdown at all. I know one person who works in China few years - he said that there were no real restrictions except in some small amount of cities. And nobody really cared much.

Of course their numbers are fake, but who cares. Especially when you want to push another lockdown into another EU country, and use China as good example of lockdown effectiveness.

>Narendra Modi, prime minister, and his Bharatiya Janata party have been accused of prioritising domestic politics over public health by holding mass political rallies with thousands of people and allowing the Kumbh Mela, a vast religious festival attended by millions, to take place during the second wave.
>“Health systems weren’t better prepared for it this time around. Many people in the administration across the country did not expect that there would be a ‘this time around’,” said K Srinath Reddy, president of the Public Health Foundation of India, a charity. “It was somehow presumed that we had passed the pandemic.”
>The sick are overwhelming hospitals in many parts of the country. The rate of ICU patients in Nagpur at 353 per million is higher than it was anywhere in Europe during the pandemic. Mumbai, the financial capital, has 194 ICU patients per million.
>A Financial Times analysis also points to under-reporting of deaths. Local news reports for seven districts across the states of Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Bihar show that while at least 1,833 people are known to have died of Covid-19 in recent days, based mainly on cremations, only 228 have been officially reported.
>In the Jamnagar district in Gujarat, 100 people died of Covid-19 but only one Covid death was reported.
>The situation in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, a state of 200m that is among India’s poorest, highlights how health infrastructure has been pushed to breaking point. Local media reported that at King George’s Medical University, there was a queue of 50 people per hospital bed.

>Amit Shah, India’s home minister, told the Indian Express that Modi and the government were “ready, fighting against [the virus] on every front . . . I am confident that we will have a victory over this”.
>But Vineeta Bal, of the National Institute of Immunology, said the roots of the crisis ran much deeper, exposing years of neglect of public health infrastructure. India’s spending on healthcare has long lagged behind global peers.
>“This is my major problem with not just the current government but the government healthcare system of the past 50 years,” she said. “That’s not going to be solvable in one year when there’s a crisis. This is a steady neglect of many, many years.”
>Santosh Kumar, the son of a BJP leader in Lucknow, has been isolating at home with his family, all four of whom have Covid.
>“The entire system has broken down,” he said. “Every other person in the administration here is quarantining. People are finding out from each other what medication to take and doing what they can.”

>In the past eight days, nearly 550 bodies were cremated at Bhadbhada crematorium, including 440 with COVID-19 protocols. The crematorium has a capacity to handle only 45-50 bodies a day. However, the health bulletin issued by state says that less than 20 people had died due to COVID in the same time period.
>“We have nothing to do with government records or what they are saying in the daily health bulletin,” said a crematorium official, adding that we issue certificates based on the documents that the hospitals send us along with the bodies. Interestingly, the Crime Branch and CID people take daily records from us.
>In the past one year, as per the crematorium’s record, more than 2,200 bodies were cremated following COVID protocols.
>“Last year, when the bodies of COVID patients landed up for cremation here, we had a capacity to handle 15-20 bodies a day,” said Arun Choudhary, President, Bhadhbhada Ghat. “Seeing the numbers rising, we acquired two acres of adjacent land and made arrangements for 30 more bodies. Besides, we have begun an electric cremation centre which can cremate seven bodies a day. But, all these arrangements have been falling short, as we are receiving an average of 80-90 bodies a day since the past two-three weeks,” he said.

>As per some Hindu rituals, cremation is not done after dusk, but as COVID deaths started rising in Bhopal, the district administration asked the crematoria to perform last rites till night.
>At Bhadbhada, bodies begin to arrive as the clock strikes 10 a.m, mostly from Hamidia Government Hospital and Chirayu, a private hospital, close to crematorium, and flames can be seen burning till late night. In the morning, people come to collect the ashes. By afternoon, nearly two dozen bodies pile up for cremation, and by the evening, a few dozen bodies more arrive. This has become a daily affair at Bhadbhada Ghat.
>Some eyewitnesses said that no rituals were being performed during the cremation of COVID bodies, as the priests were fearful of catching the infection. In addition, instead of the traditional ghee, these bodies are being doused with litres of kerosene oil for quick burning, they said.

>Subash Nagar Chita Asthal, another crematorium designated for COVID bodies, is also seeing a steep rise in the number of bodies in the past two-three weeks. The crematorium, which receives 4-5 bodies a day, has been receiving 35-40 bodies each day. From April 1 to 19, the last rites of 300 bodies were done with COVID protocols, say officials.
>Since Subash Nagar Chita Asthal is located in the heart of the city, the crematorium receives bodies from the nearest People’s, JK Hospital and AIIMS Hospital. The state government does not include private hospitals death data in their daily report.
>“A sharp jump has been seen in COVID-19 deaths in the past three weeks. Even during the first wave, we received 6-7 bodies a day, which has surged to 35-40 a day,” said Somraj Sukhwani, manager of Subhash Nagar crematorium.
>“I haven’t received a single penny promised by the then BMC commissioner Vijay Dutta for cremation of COVID bodies,” he added.

>The condition of Jadha graveyard, the lone burial ground designated to bury bodies of Muslims, is in no better condition. The problem is almost similar to crematoria.
>There is hardly any place left for new graves, payments of more than 100 bodies weren't made, as promised by the district officials, and labourers who dug the graves have got blisters on their hands.
>Between April 1 and 15, as many as 115 bodies were buried with COVID protocols. The graveyard, which was receiving 5-7 bodies a day, has been receiving 15-20 bodies since the past two-three weeks.
>Running out of place to bury the bodies, the Municipal Corporation has provided a JCB machine to the graveyard caretakers to flatten the rocky terrain and dig up the graves.
>Rehan Ahmad, caretaker of the burial ground, said he had written to the district collector to open another graveyard or provide the adjacent Wakf land to bury the bodies. “There is no place to bury new bodies. I have made my demand to the Collector. Besides, there is a patch of rocky land on the right corner of the ground. Hence, with the help of JCB, we are trying to remove the rocks and make new burial grounds,” Rehan said, adding that “we are keeping 10-15 dug graves ready in advance”.

>The crematoria, graveyards are working day and night to perform the last rites of the people who are dying of COVID-19. Nearly 1,000 such bodies were disposed of in April, yet, government data says less than 50 people have died in April.

The thing sounds like something political.
Btw if covid really runs rampant there they might be better off on the long run than countries who try to choke the thing down. A "neutrally" developed herd immunity is better than vaccinated immunity with constant "reminder" shots.
Here they did not go for it because "we don't have the hospital capacity for a sudden rise of paitents", so they had to "flatten the curve", preventing herd immunity to develop (and the quick culling of the weak). (Remember how they called that Russian man who destroys England an idiot when he said "herd immunity is important" and he had to correct it later stating: "I said: I heard, immunity is important".)

Here, on the Hungary, we're gonna see high amount of covid death, simply because we are among the worst in cardiovascular diseases and cancer. And they die easily from covid. And they ofc get covid. Cancer patients go to hospitals to get their treatment, they get covid in the hospital because Hungarian ones are more insanitary than Indian shitting streets (you break your leg you gonna get covid in the hospital here, and you're gonna be lucky if you only get covid), and then they die because cancer patients does that, and gonna get listed as covid death even if that don't added much in the end (although sure any additional condition can rush dying). Ofc for some the pneumonia following covid infection will be the end, because they are too weak to fight that. Imagine you're getting your chemo, you can barely exist you feel so shitty, then bam, fight for every tiny bit of oxygen. Now, that's a death sentence.

Could he buy gun there legally? I guess not. Illegal buying, even if country has cheap black market of illegal things, requires specific skill. Weed is a good example - it is everywhere in the world, and streetwise person can easily buy it even in relatively unknown place just on street. It would seem that Chinese vaccines are hilariously garbage. Just as one'd expect from a Made in China product.

China hoped they could use vaccine exports and cheap deals to build diplomatic reputation. But it turns out that their Sinovac, specifically designed to be halal (Indonesia and UAE loved it), is garbage and doesn't work as intended.
Testing in Brazil earlier showed 50.7% efficacy. But earlier trial results that showed 49.6% efficacy (50% had to be passed to be given an OK – was the number fudged in later stages?) also showed only 35% when including asymptomatic positives.
Chile received a big shipment of Chinese vaccines, which is why it's currently near the top of the most vaccinated countries. But it turned out, after a big outbreak directly following relaxed epidemic measures after vaccination drive, that a single shot was only 3%-16% effective (lol), though after second shot that's supposedly up to 67%.
China, like in so many other technological areas where it likes to use international propaganda to boast about advancement, has used 60s technology and is now suffering comparative shit results.
That China ordered 100M doses of Pfizer back in December already says all you need to know – they don't trust their own product themselves.

Flu has an additional problem of having high immunity evasion (corona doesn't show that nearly as much) so it's always a guess, whether vaccine will be effective against viruses that will evolve over the next season.
>do the vaccinated test positive for covid?
PCR: no
RAT: I believe most of those detect the nucleocapsid, not the spike protein which is in the vaccine, and even then RAT swap is from the nose and vaccine isn't nasally administered, so again no

Finally. Hungary is leading in something.

I wonder what's about illnesses with flue-like, common cold like symptoms. How many cases happen, and if tests could produce false positive covids from those. I read hundreds of viruses and bacteria cause flu like symptoms, it's just useless to test them since all treated the same (rest, drink fluids, if the fever goes high bring it down), and they are fairly harmless by the end of the day.
Plus I'm curious about our death statistics, grouped by causes. I dl'd a preliminary report from out central statistics institution, broken down to weekly basis and age groups (but not cause of death), from 2015 January to 2021 April. Fiddled with it a bit, liek calculated averages and maximum from 2015 January to 2019 December and checked where it's higher than average after that date. Interestingly in older age groups already in 2020 January and February there were higher mortality than average. I assume however simply winter months are harder on the oldtimers, so have to check previous years too and see if it's a regular thing.
But what I'm really curious about if cancer and cardiovascular death causes will feature with less numbers. They have to since those guy dies in covid chiefly (this is why we are ranked 1st in picrel, we lead cancer and such statistics too).

Some guy who studied in this school 4 years ago gone crazy, decided that he is god and humans must die (at least messages from his social media accounts say so). Then he bought a shotgun, made few bombs and did that traditional American thing. Now there are 9 dead and dozens of wounded, shooter didn't kill himself and arrested by police.

Sources say that he was a nice calm person, studied in college but few months ago dropped out because he stopped visiting it.

I thought it would be widespread. When you go to a shop or any kind of place now really there will be a QR code out the front and you have to scan that and it goes to some government database. So that if an outbreak of Covid were to occur the government could trace everybody who could have been in contact with the people that have had it or who went to stores that they went too.

Do they check that you have scanned this code in realtime? Otherwise you may just pretend to use phone to scan, and do nothing.

We've had this system though, but optional, and no one scanned these codes.

Although in Moscow there were QR-code passes for going out by transport at Summer 2020 - two passes for person in one week if you have no special reason like lockdown-excluded work. Starting point and destination was required to get pass, although there were no system that checks your route properly. But cameras on roads were used to track and automatically fine offenders without passes, and people were checked in metro or buses. Fines were pretty large.

Sweet story.
Small settlement on the Eastern Hungary, population ~3000, the vast majority is gypsies. The article says as the covid pandemic reached the village they took it seriously since people got quarantined by the dozen. Then after the first wave went away they did not cared anymore, and misinformation spread about the vaccines - like "they spread the disease with the vaccine" or "the problem with the injection that it has no antidote"-, a pair of siblings died after they got their covid shots, and now the gypsies don't want to get vaccinated.
I suspect (very reasonable speculation based on the article) up to date they got the experience that barely anyone had any serious issue after contacting covid (they aren't wrong). And when those two died they made the connection, it was because of the vaccine. The two died of covid ofc, but they had serious illnesses beside.

In other news, Australians boycotting Snickers because it's made in China.

I see tomorrow will be the no-confidence vote, and that will decide how to proceed. If it passes, the PM has to go, and then there might be a snap election (next general election would be in 2022). Or they elect a caretaker government until then.
Here's a month old chart about how the parties are standing.
According to Wikipee minority government runs the country, Soc-Dems are in coalition with the Greens. The Centre Party and the Liberals supports them with votes (they still short for a majority), and based on the articles it seems the Left Party as well. Their chief opponent is the Sweden Democrats party which is called "far-right" by the articles. Interesting.

There might be more postenings on my behalf about the Euro Cup 2020, so I looked up some rule changes I noticed. Well, one I noticed: I saw substitutes just flooding the field in a seemingly unstoppable torrent. Turns out due to "fixture congestion" (caused by the pandemic) players have larger burden of them, so all in all 6 substitutes are allowed (5 during the base gametime and the 6th in overtime).
They also added rules about rescheduling in case players test with corona, which I won't list, but good to know now such are in effect.
This cup (the 60th) is also special because the matches are played all over Europe, in many countries, who won the bid for one stadium, this is called "pan-European tournament format"; instead of the original one when one country gets to organize the tournament (sometimes couple of countries co-host it, like in 2012 Poland and Ukraine did).
Maybe interesting to note: only Budapest allows full house venues, other hosts decided to run the stadiums on reduced capacity due to covid.

Here are the groups.
For now only the Group A is decided, Italy advances with ease, I would have expected from them, if I had checked the tables first. The other is Wales.
Croatia isn't doing well in her group.
Good news is, if we beat Germany, and France does that with Portugal, then we will advance. The bad news is, for that we have to beat Germany (and I'm not sure France will beat Portugal).

There is a case in Slovenia currently unfolding regarding dumpings of poo poo.

2 weeks ago someone unloaded 200m³ of sewage treatment plant sediment in a forest. It was noticed because nearby downstream is a botanical garden, and there was a well for 5 farms that also got polluted.
It turned out that the sediment came from Ptuj sewage system, but it's not clear who is responsible for the operation. Normally most of Slovenia exported sewage to Hungary but they stopped accepting it last year, and there's no processing facility in Slovenia, so some resorted to illegal (and potentially dangerous) methods of disposing it somewhere people won't notice it.
But they noticed this time.

Since then, several other dumpings have been discovered – it is weird how nobody ever reported anything before that.

Did a bit of googling. Hungarian articles related to Slovenian sewage sediments came in two waves back in 2019 July and late August, as people noticed something smells from the direction of old clay mines. I think chiefly opposition media made big stuff about it, since it seems various companies close to Fidesz are importing the shit not just from Slovenia, but Croatia and Italy too. Hungary was the second largest poo importer of Europe between Germany and France, in 2016. The sludge can be used as replacement soil, healing "landscape wounds" with it, and "energy reed" can be grow upon it (for biofuel, like Miscanthus spp.).
After the initial media attention and supposed outcry (the media says so, some of the headlines are quite combative) officials and fags from ministries said they'll do something about it, no big deal, since it doesn't need special treatment (unlike batteries for example) every country can solve their problems at home.
The next wave of articles used a Slovenian source (it seems Total Slovenia News) which says Slovenia could get into trouble with the sludge herself.
Then I suppose we stopped the import and now those who are at the end of Slovenian sewerage try to do something with all the sediments. Maybe they payed to someone to move it and those dumped it illegally.

Here's two Slovenian links I found in the articles, second is in English:

And couple of Hungarian articles:

>I dunno. A four minutes extra time is long.

Football has no "clean time" like hockey, so it is referee decision to continue the match even if additional time is over. Germans did very slow play at start of additional time - maybe even minute was lost while they "tried" to do these corners. In such cases referees often allow play some additional time. But this match ended precisely after additional 4 minutes. Although it's referee decision anyway, he has right.

>or us it wouldn't have mattered, we got tired, and the Germs close well.

There is always a chance. Second Hungarian goal was sudden and partially based on luck, so they could score another one with some luck too. Although Germans were solid in defense, of course.

Update: there's indications that the poop dispensers are ML Surovine, owned by Aljoša Alkhatib, a gypsy from Zalog near Ljubljana. It is registered as a business in handling non-dangerous waste. He has a huge private trashyard there which is smelled horrible, locals complained about it. I think today I'm gonna watch the Belgium-Italy match.
This whole cup got politicized through by westerners, blm and lgbt mixed in the whole crap. They forcing teams to kneel, and they sperg out how (chiefly Eastern Euro and such, but there were some surprises like Sweden) teams do not. It's hilarious because not negers try forcing people to kneel but the same privileged, rich whites who exploited everyone around them (among those the negers) and still do.

Italy won, 1-2.
Was nice game all in all. Belgium pushed on, and hat a couple of scoring opportunities, but could only score one from a penalty. First goal was very nice, quick action. By the end of the game the Italians started to break up the match by lengthening every moment when the ball wasn't in play, that wasn't really nice but understandable.
Maybe Italians have a tournament final in them.

Scandal on the Hungary.
Large western media outlets (and Amnesty International) acquired a client list of Israeli IT company, the NSO, specializing in creating what essentially spyware, putting wiretap into the wiretap everyone uses as smartphones. With the client list came a victim list as well.
Turns out the govt. of Hungary also uses the program, called Pegasus, and observed, and wire-tapped a bunch of people, whom they thought they should.
On one occasion they gathered the whole conversation that happened at a diner hosted by some businessmen. All the phones of every the participants were bugged. Apparently they talked about how the political situation is shit - which is basically every conversation ever on the Hungary. Related to that this quote is hilarious:
>“Two weeks after the dinner, someone contacted me to say: I knew you had this dinner, it’s very dangerous, you shouldn’t be doing that,”
What could they say that's "dangerous"? Srsly sounds like if we were in the '50s. I can't imagine what could be such things. Orbán, the Fidesz, and the govt. knows very well who does not support them and what could they think. They know they want to take the power out from their hands. They can't say anything that would surprise anyone... Did they plan assassination or what?
This thing surely does not add to the sense of security of anyone.
Here's more info about the whole thing, and and a Hungarian specific article (should be in English):

as zoomers would say, sus

It was reported in Slovenia, but not much came out of it. Considering the media absolutely hate our prime minister Janez Janša, and given that he's trying very hard to be an ally of Orbán, it's a bit surprising. Has he not been a beneficiary of the program too? Or are they perhaps wisely silent, since it was the media-bureaucratic establishment and their parties and circles that used the program, and don't want to open an investigation?

That Forbidden Stories group says it was used in 50 countries. They have other articles, but I can't find a fukin searchbox on their site.
Here's a map where they tapped journalists.
For now in Hungarian media (well on the new site - Index - I normally link) no news if the threads of this scandal reach Slovenia or not. I dunno if Slovenian media is looking into it. I can imagine us passing intel to other countries with good relations if there's info they might interested in. Or barter with such info.
On the other hand I saw articles noticing the good relations between our governments. Like "the Slovenian Prime Minister defended Orbán again", or noting Orbán spent so much money when he traveled to Slovenia (during the pandemic he dared to travel, this is also scandalous).

There are several stuff that comes to my mind regarding this case.
People are get used to feed Big Tech with their own data with two hands shoveling their private info and agreeing on every term of use that violates their privacy. But they are clueless they're doing this, and even those who is a bit tech savvy just shrug and live their life on.
On the other hand it is one thing that Google, Facebook and co. knows about every bit of data, and they share it with US govt. agencies, but getting that data from them by some other govt. like the Hungarian is another, it might be not that easy. I dunno how this works, I assume they can ask for the data, either from the company or from NSA for example, but those can shrug it off. It seems to me, that this monitoring they did with the Pegasus wasn't part of any investigation, they were just curious. If there were a legal case, then sure said companies and agencies probably would help, but without any why would they care?
Ofc there are the local companies, chiefly the ISPs, most of the communication will run on their infrastructure so they literally know everything that being exchanged between two devices. So through their infrastructure that data can be accessed. But even a https isn't that easy to just read. But then if they could "hack" the Pegasus onto their phones, they probably would be able to crack https traffic.
And anyway law enforcement has their ways for a long time now to acquire data. However - again - this thing wasn't part of official investigation, just some monkey business.
Luckily this year some changes were made in the law here, now a policeman (or any investigative officer) is allowed to "clandestinely" acquire net traffic without any authorization from a judge or prosecutor, on the basis of suspicion that a crime is being committed. Now everyone with a good buddy in the law enforcement can know everything about anyone.
Not to mention this:
EU based agencies is monitoring instant messaging now (legally) and gonna emails from Sept too.
I might move to Siberia deliberately.

Pegasus basically is another "agency" that is much easily accessible than NSA for small client. And there are more. It is misconception that only big players and superpower governments may access to required data, now everyone with some money can.

For example, in Russia anyone can buy almost any private data that government has. Like dates and places where you parked your car (on payed parking), bank info, phone logs, photos etc. Commercial funeral agents visit you faster than ambulance when you call about dead body, because emergency services sells your data on moment when you call. And of course it is all forbidden, there are privacy laws, and government says that this time your data is surely protected properly.

More news about the Pegasus scandal. International now.
On the target list heads of governments and states can be found. Among them Macron, who changed his phone and number, then called the Israeli PM, Bennett, and requested thorough investigation. Being on the target list doesn't mean actual wire-tapping happened.
Two links:
I really like this line:
>"The platform we produce prevents terrorist attacks and saves lives,"
Who is on the list?
France - Macron
Iraq - Barham Salih
South Africa - Cyril Ramaphosa
Yemen - Ahmed Obeid bin Daghr
Lebanon - Saad Hariri
Uganda - Ruhakana Rugunda
France - Éduard Philippe
Khazakstan - Bakitzhan Saintayev
Algeria - Noureddine Bedoui
Belgium - Charles Michel
King of Morocco - Mohammed VI

The Olympics in Tokyo are looking to be an upset for American competitors.

It started with women's football team losing 3-0 to Sweden, before the games even officially started. (At least they managed to qualify for the knockout stage, after defeating New Zealand and drawing Australia)
Then, their men's basketball team lost to France, 83-76. The players were disorganised and it was obvious that NBA stars are not used to playing basketball as a team game, and to preferential treatment from refs.
Today, Simone Biles withdrew from team competition citing "mental health". The media are of course celebrating her as the real winner. American narcissism knows no bounds.
And also, Naomi Osaka is technically American, even though she competes for Japan. She was rekt by Markéta Vondroušová today.

After investigating a bit, someone noticed that Simone Biles was reported to be on ADHD meds, which are banned at olympics – one explanation is now that a shitload of American athletes are hooked on Adderall™ – amphetamine. No wonder they can't compete, now that they're under strict control and can't take performance enhancing drugs with impunity.

In other news, Japan currently leads the medal standings. And had it not been for three gold medals in shooting for America (heh), they'd be behind Russia and China too.
