There is a talk about building strategic oil storage on the Hungary for the Ukraine, so they would be safe from Russian attacks. Perhaps not even talk, but perhaps an actual agreement.
There was a "Carpathian Eight" summit and it happened there. C8 = Ukraine, Romania, Poland, Northern Hungary, Hungary, Czechia, Austria, Serbia. So a KuK II. Minus Croatia, but close enough.
Apparently one reason is to secure the winter supply. But such project is not done in a week, so it had to be already underway for a long time now.

Apparently PMMP did not know about it, not even our Foreign Office. Opposition asks: How? Is he lying or incompetent. Great question to be honest.
Some also worry that this makes us a target. I'm fairly sure there are other stuff we don't know about that could make us a target. And I'm infa 100% that plenty of nukable targets if it becomes an overt NATO war. So kinda meh.
