Okay I'll respond even though I've got no idea who are you referring to. I use yt-dlp to download twitch vods it works pretty much as well as it does for youtube. I dunno what about the vods that are behind the paywall though, maybe you'd need to import cookies from the browser that you're logged in on twitch with but it probably is possible.
