You are correct, IIRC it's 48 steel furnaces per red belt so it would be 24 steels per yellow belt.

That's not correct, yellow science takes 21 seconds to make 3 packs (so like 1 pack per 7 seconds), with 5400 assemblies running continuously and being supplied materials properly, you would have a throughput of ~771 yellow science per second or you'd be able to create 6 million yellow science in around 7778 seconds (like 2h10m)
