I have actually never played the DLC for Skyrim, I was so disappointed by the base game I never picked it up again. Basically if it's anything past Morrowind I'll be skeptical and if it's past Oblivion I just don't care about what Todd made up.

Naaaaaaaah, you've got some real selection bias going on there. Believe me I've been at IT in uni, so basically autism central 99% male and it was higher functioning than what you have at BGC.
And there were quirky people, I don't deny it, but they were harmless quirky and mostly adapted. At 19 and over you should just know things and not be completely socially stunted.
